Bella View – From Vision to Reality

When I first stood on this hill…

When I purchased this plot of land, I already envisioned myself one day sitting by the highest cabin, gazing out at the landscape. In my mind, I held a beautiful, perhaps even overly romantic, vision of what would one day emerge here.

Yet, I had never built anything before. And why I chose such a challenging plot of land on a slope for my first construction project remains a bit of a mystery to this day.

Initially, we agreed that I would be the one to regularly visit the construction site, organize the individual tasks, and move the entire process forward. At that time, I didn’t yet realize what all that would entail.

The very beginnings were perhaps the most challenging. Drainage, site preparation, foundations, the first construction work… All of it was physically and mentally exhausting. On a slope, almost everything was more complicated than on a regular flat plot of land. Every subsequent step brought new complications, decisions, and problems that needed to be solved right on the spot.

The romantic idea of building cabins quickly turned into a daily reality full of mud, dust, hard work, and an endless search for solutions.

It was hard. Complicated. Sometimes almost unbearable.

There were times when I felt like giving up on everything. But at the same time, there was something within me that constantly pushed me forward. The desire to finish what we had started and to finally see the place I had once only imagined in my head standing before me.

And I wasn’t alone in this.

A huge part of this entire journey was the faith of my then-partner and now wife. She believed in me, in this project, even in moments when we ourselves didn’t know if we had embarked on something beyond our capabilities.

We embarked on Bella View young, without experience, and without knowing everything that awaited us. But it was precisely this project that showed us what it truly means to believe in your dream – and above all, in each other.

When you walk among the cabins today, look out from the terrace at the landscape, or notice one of the small details inside, know that almost every one of them holds a piece of our shared story.

They contain our ideas, our decisions, and our work. There’s a lot of love here, but also many sleepless nights, fatigue, mistakes, disappointments, and moments when we had to start over.

The creation of Bella View involved a great deal of hard work, time, decisions, and obstacles that we had to overcome during construction. Every detail was crafted with our guests’ future comfort in mind.

Today, six unique cabins stand on the hillside. Each is a little different, each has its own character, its own place, and its own unique view of nature.

We are proud to have transformed a challenging slope into a place where you can momentarily forget daily obligations, slow down, and simply *be*.

For us, Bella View is more than just accommodation. It’s our vision brought to life – and today, we joyfully share it with you.

And perhaps that’s precisely why Bella View means so much to us.

Sometimes, I sit up there, by the highest cabin, look out at the landscape, and remember the moment I bought this plot of land.

The vision I then only held in my mind.

Today, I can sit within it. Me and you. And all of us.
